Chemical Peel in Scottsdale, AZ

A chemical peel is a technique used to improve fine lines and wrinkles, skin tone and smooth texture on the face or other parts of the body. This is accomplished by applying a chemical solution which will remove the outermost or middle layers of the skin through a peeling process. In turn, the skin will then grow back over the newly exposed lower layer which results in smooth, clear, and more youthful skin.

Who Can Benefit

Chemical peels can be used on nearly every skin type and for anyone concerned about improving damage that has been caused from collagen and elastin loss, environmental exposure, and acne.

PCA Sensi Chemical Peel
What to Expect

First we decide which peel is best suited for your skin based on your skin type (Fitz Type), and what you want to treat. We will double cleanse and then prep the skin with appropriate peel toner. The peel will be applied in layers. Between each layer, you may feel a burning sensation. Your technician will fan your face to help cool down the heat before applying a new layer. After all layers are applied, boosters can be added to enhance your peels efficacy. The last step in the peel process is to apply an SPF before you leave. Post peel instructions and a post peel kit will be given to you to use for the week following your peel.
